Today was my 16th birthday, and as you know, it's really special and only comes once in your life.
Day started out really nice. Looked like a braided version of Medusa, ironed hair, got the style that I wanted, rocked to the new Coldplay album, wore my cat-hat and stripy tights. Bought art book and promptly painted and decorated it. (♥♥♥) Messed around (in a very serious way, like a boss) with my best friend, wrote some original French stuff, messed about some more while the other kids had to go to another class, had fun in Geography, apart from when some jerk insulted me.
Went to the last and only class of the day where I'm with all my other classmates. Told teacher that it was my birthday today and that I'd need to hand out sweets. Teacher nodded and started an arguement about some misunderstanding with a middleman and some unmade homework.
20 minutes into lesson, we start talking about actual Biology; the menstrual cycle. 
The girl behind me later on told me that we still had 5 minutes before school ended. I raise my hand to try and gain the teacher's attention. She wants complete silence so had to wait for silence. She got it and continued the lecture. Chance missed. 2 minutes left. I raise my hand, as did another girl. Had to wait for my turn. 1 minute.
I get to hand out the sweets, only for the bell to ring and everyone to stream towards me for the sweets. A fair few 'Happy Birthday's were thrown around, somebody had chucked a sweetie bar across the room and now somebody wanted another one.
I was left at the end of the day with three empty bags with tears in my eyes and confusion running through my head. Nobody even sang Happy Birthday to me.
Feel really hurt. 
And now I'm listening to Paradise on replay, and keep on crying. Dunno why, apart from the being really upset thingy, but Coldplay just has that sort of deep stirring emotional effect on me.
Please can someone come cheer me up?
